Cheers dude! I want to make a mod, its just Im struggling with opening .mdl files :( Ive used EVERYTHING, quick3d pro, milkshape. Maybe we could combine forces or something. I want to implement some gun models, and the chainsaw I made, into l4d.

Problem is the authoring tools man, they're shithousen. I emailed valve to see whats going on and im awaiting their reply. But what mod are you working on?

p.s Sketchup is awesome! Brilliant for buildings and plans like you said.
